Privacy Policy
What Moss Image collects (your Google sign-in, prompts and images, payments), who processes it, how long images are kept and how to delete your data.

Introduction
This policy explains what information Moss Image collects when you use moss-image.app, why, who else processes it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We don't receive or store your Google password.
- What you create. The prompts you write, the settings you choose (size, aspect ratio, resolution), the reference images you upload and the images you generate.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your billing email, the plan, the amounts and the payment status. Your full card number never reaches our servers.
- Credits and activity. Your credit balance and history, and the record of each generation (when it ran, what it cost, whether it succeeded).
- Technical data. Basic request data such as IP address, browser and device type, used for security, abuse prevention and keeping the service working.
- Cookies and analytics. A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, cookies that remember your preferences (such as language and theme), and analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics counts visits and where they come from; Clarity records how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays) so we can fix confusing parts of the site; it masks what you type into forms, and we don't record the admin or account settings pages. You can block these cookies in your browser without affecting the service.
How we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, generate your images, keep your library and credit balance.
- To process payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds.
- To answer support requests and send important service messages.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms.
- To improve reliability and fix problems.
We don't use your prompts or images to train AI models, and we don't sell them.
Who processes your data
We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:
- Google — sign-in.
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions, invoices and refunds.
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and image storage.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — website usage analytics (see Cookies and analytics above).
- An AI image-generation provider — receives your prompt and any reference images only to produce your image, and returns the result.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.
How long we keep it
- Generated images: 30 days from creation, then permanently deleted.
- Uploaded reference images: 7 days, then permanently deleted.
- Account, credit and generation records: while your account exists. Your library only shows images from the last 30 days.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after your account is closed.
Anyone with the direct link to an image file can open it until it is deleted, so only share links you're happy to make public.
Where your data is stored
Our database and image storage are in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to close your account, by emailing support@moss-image.app from your account's email address. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), secrets are encrypted at rest, and access to our systems is restricted. No service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Moss Image is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed; for significant changes we'll also tell you in the service.
